Vatuvara Island

We only asked to be consulted  on the use of our traditional Fishing ground on the foreshores of Vatuvara Island and Kaibu island seven metres inland from above the highest tide mark,the lagoon inside the reef surrounding the whole Island.It is the private property of the people of Yacata therefore access to the Island is forbidden.

We will never tolerate any tourism activities on the Island that is going to involve our lagoons and beach,if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me on email
